The Brumfield Project

This house had seen better days, hiding within its walls not just memories, but also unexpected guests – cats, who found shelter inside the walls due to a botched repair job that left the home exposed. As if the feline invasion wasn’t enough, termites feasted on one whole wall, threatening the very stability of the frame. The owners, dreaming of a peaceful retirement in Florida, were left distraught, facing a mountain of stress instead of the peaceful transition into retirement they had envisioned.

Before the Renovations

We saw beyond the home's battered state, recognizing its potential. The previous owners worked together with us and the local title company for a quick cash sale, handing off the project. They were able to rest knowing that they made the best choice for the house, the neighborhood, and their own retirement. Our team, armed with expertise, compassion, and a vision, set out to breathe new life into this home!

Introducing new windows, electric heat, central air, a new hot water heater, and a thorough remodel was definitely needed.

Accessibility was a key consideration in our restoration efforts. The home now features two ramps in the front, providing zero-steps-up access for easy entry and movement, ensuring that it’s not just a house, but a home for everyone.

This is what the house looks like now…

This transformation story isn’t just about a building; it’s about restoring hope and creating a new chapter for all involved. At Restore Next Door, we believe every home has a story waiting to be told.
