The Zane Project

Elizabeth tells this story:

“This adorable 1960’s home came to us through a unique turn of events and a wrong # that turned out to be the right # after all. When I was looking for the owner of a property that I admired, I accidentally called the wrong #. After a bit of confusion with the patient and kind gal on the other end, we discovered that she also owned rentals but just one block away. She wasn’t ready to sell but we had a lovely conversation and were fast friends. She saved my number in case she was ever ready to sell her rentals in the future.

Fast forward 4 years!!

One hot summer day, I was cleaning the last little bit before a new family moved into another historic home and my phone ran. My friend from the wrong # it was her name that showed up! I remembered what a lovely person she was and answered right away! She had a renter move out and had left the home pretty messy. She wanted to retire from rentals and had moved north. She asked if I could meet her there shortly and take a look.

After catching up on everything, we walked through the space and she understood the amount of work that it would need - it had some minor flooding in the basement, the flooring and walls would need work, and she was just ready to be done. We offered her a strategic move to purchase the homes AS-IS and provided her with a purchase that spread out her taxes from the sale over 2 calendar years. This helped her, provided a higher sale price, and allowed us to pour in the needed resources to make the homes beautiful again. We specialize in win-win-win all the way around!
